Quote Structure
Every quote has:
- **Header** — your branding, quote number, and date
- **Customer details** — name, address, contact info
- **Line items** — what you're quoting for
- **Subtotal, tax, and total**
- **Terms and conditions**
- **Expiry date**
Line Items
Add items individually or in groups:
- **Labour** — hours × rate
- **Materials** — units × price
- **Custom items** — anything else
Use sections to group related items (e.g., "Demolition", "Installation", "Finishing").
Pricing Strategies
- **Fixed price** — one total, no surprises
- **Estimate** — approximate, subject to variation
- **Time and materials** — billed based on actuals
Mark the pricing type clearly so customers know what to expect.
Expiry
Set an expiry date (default 30 days). After expiry, the quote shows as expired in the system. You can extend or resend at any time.
